Campaign Details

Akhil Sesh embodies a New Age of Recording Artist. As well as being both a Songwriter & Producer (from Detroit) the music reflects his diverse background. He has been singing and playing piano since the age of 5 which culminated into the creation of SeshedUp Records in 2012. "SeshedUp" his debut project is a 17 track completely original self written and produced album.

The Project

AMW worked to generate additional online buzz surrounding Akhil's first single and video "Loud Pack". Produced and directed by the acclaimed Sir Fawn at Fawn Creative the video exudes a highly sought-after lifestyle of fortune, luxury and love. Sesh, who is sponsored by REVIVE, a premier clothing boutique headed by Aaron Cohen highlights the brand's trendy threads throughout the video.

Planning & Process

A digital PR and branding campaign was customized to target the right demographic. His online profiles were redesigned and new fans were generated through official announcements and press release distribution through AMW's media network. The first single "Loud Pack", was released under his independent label SeshedUp and made its YouTube premiere on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013.

The Results

Our customized digital campaign helped Akhil Sesh increase his facebook following by 83% in under 30 days and propelled YouTube views 34.7 percent to over 170,000 in 14 days. The debut effort is quickly becoming a highly sought-after independent release and has been downloaded over 100,000 times on the popular free mixtape website DatPiff.
