Deejay and personality, JaKissa Taylor, is better known to fans as DJ Kiss. Recently named one of the "25 Most Stylish New Yorkers" by Us Weekly Magazine and a "Woman on The Verge" by Playboy, this globetrotting New York based spinner has a passion for making people dance. Her talent, extensive musical knowledge, and personality have made DJ Kiss one of the most in-demand DJs in the country.
DJ Kiss is everywhere. You can find her on the French Rivera playing for the international jet set, spinning A-list private parties in the hollywood hills, headlining at top clubs around the country including LIV in Miami and Studio 54 in Las Vegas, or adding her signature sound to a host of fashion, music, corporate, and charity events. She recently wowed crowds at Alexander Wang's epic carnival-themed SS/11afterparty, Versace's Fashion's Night Out, and at Us Weekly Magazine's "25 Most Stylish New Yorkers" party. Some of her other clients include Ferragamo, Tiffany & Co., Audemars Piguet, Nicole Miller, Diane von Furstenberg, Conde Nast, GQ Magazine, Theory, H&M, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Susan G. Komen. Kiss has also spun private parties for some of the world's biggest celebrities including Jaime Foxx, Madonna, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Naomi Campbell, and Rihanna; and alongside artists such as Lionel Richie, Snoop Dogg, and Chris Brown.
A fixture on the world nightlife scene since 2006, Kiss is currently a resident DJ at NYC hotspots Avenue and RdV and has headlined at clubs abroad in cities like Paris, St. Tropez, Athens, London, Istanbul, Barcelona, Mexico City, and Oslo.
DJ Kiss recently appeared on MTV’s The Seven as a music expert, and on The Today Show giving host, Hoda Kotb, a deejay lesson.
